Offering the skills, ideas and confidence to persuade others to act on
climate change.  Arrive keen to speak out on this issue, but not an
expert, and leave able and prepared to deliver a hard-hitting half-hour
talk.

2.  SWANSEA - CLIMATE CHANGE CONDENSED, AND SPEAKER TRAINING

The Environment Centre in Swansea will be running two COIN courses for the
public:

Saturday 12th June, 1-4pm, - CLIMATE CHANGE CONDENSED - at the Environment
Centre, Pier Street, Swansea.

Climate Change Condensed is our fast paced 'everything-you-need-to-know'
introduction to the topic.

  * If the science is so certain, why do so many people remain unconvinced?
  * How will climate change affect the UK and the rest of the world?
  * Can it be stopped and who should do it?

All answered with a recipe mixing expert knowledge, group discussion and
pair work. As guides to the issues, the course includes short video
presentations featuring popular climate change journalists George Monbiot
and Mark Lynas and high profile scientists with a gift for communication.
Leave with a sound grasp of the facts and ideas for action.

3.  CLIMATE SOLIDARITY ACTION GROUP TRAINING

As part of the Climate Solidarity project, we run FREE half-day trainings
in venues across the UK for trade union members in how to set up an Action
Group in your workplace or community.  These training events are OPEN TO
MEMBERS OF ANY TRADE UNION.  The dates coming up are:

- London, Thursday 17th June (in association with Natural England)
